THIS POLICY EXPLAINS WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE STORE, TRANSFER AND DELETE THAT INFORMATION.

We collect information that you provide directly to us.

Promotional Material Opt-in When you opt-in to free promotional material we collect your firstname and your email address.

Registration When you signup to the TradesByTheBook service we collect your firstname, your email address and a password on the registration form.
Once logged in we will ask you for a trading account balance to use, that you directly enter.

Payments We use Stripe as a third party payment processor for all payments. TradesByTheBook does not store credit card details and instead relies on Stripe for this. Stripe's use of your Personal Data is governed by their privacy policy, which may be viewed at https://stripe.com/us/privacy. We do have access to the last 4 digits and expiry of your card.

Subscriptions We collect information regarding the subscription plan you choose, the dates you signed up and payment history.

Service Information As TradesByTheBook performs an analysis of your trades and balances we collect detailed information about your trades that you directly input or upload to us, and account balances if you choose to share that.

We use the information received to:
* create and maintain your account
* provide the TradesByTheBook core services and tools
* send you communication as required - automated or directly
* respond to your customer service requests
* comply with our legal and financial obligations
* basic information will be shared with our payment provider, Stripe, like your email address and subscription plan

* We will not sell or rent to any third party any of the personal information or data that you provide to us.
* Once your account has been deleted we will store your personal data (email, trades etc.) for 30 days. At this point they will be deleted.
* Other information, such as invoice history, may be stored for longer to meet our legal, regulatory or other compliance obligations.
We take steps to ensure that your private information and account credentials are safe, such as encrypted passwords.
We take reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data provided by the Site from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free.

* We use session cookies to determine whether you are logged in or not
* Some page preferences are stored so that future visits to some pages can recall the settings and give a better user experience

We use a number of third party companies and services that allow us to provide the product and services that we offer. Without these companies we would not have the technical ability to run a functional business. Data on their sites is governed by their individual private policies;

* Google Analytics: Used to help us better understand our customers. Data collected by Google Analytics is aggregate data, which is not tied back to a specific individual

1. Email marketing: you can opt-out of receiving newsletters or updates on the 'My Profile' page by checking the 'unsubscribe' box.
2. Service-Related Announcements: we may also send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do this. You do not have an option to opt out of these emails, which are not promotional in nature.
